Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith, in a friendly, open and informal environment.
Alpha is not so much a course, but an experience! Gathering once a week over an 10-week period, each Alpha brings together people from every walk of life to talk about life's big questions.
Each evening, we share a meal, listen to a short talk, and then gather in small groups for discussion. Over 29 million people across the globe have attended Alpha. We invite you to register and join us for a night, and then decide if you want to continue with the rest of the course. There is no fee to join, and no pressure to return if it's not for you.
What Should I Expect?
A typical Alpha evening looks like this: Doors open at 6:15 PM. Your meal is served at 6:30 PM. After eating, we watch a video exploring an aspect of the Christian faith, such as Who is Jesus? or Why Did Jesus Die? Then, we gather into small groups for discussion.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for the spiritually curious. It's for people who want to learn more about our place in the world and discuss big ideas with others. Alpha is not Sunday School or a Bible study. There are no right or wrong answers. No question is too hostile, too silly, or too simple. We're here to discuss ideas openly and explore faith together.
How much does it cost?
Alpha is free to attend.
